"Only a people serving an apprenticeship to nature can be trusted with machines. Only such people will so contrive and control those machines that their products are an enhancement of biological needs and not a denial of them."

Herbert Read, The Grass Roots of Art

This year, six young adults and two adult youngsters went on a canoe and camping trip to Saint Regis Canoe Area in New York State. All returned after a week of great camping and canoeing on lakes. We also did some hiking this time. It was fun! Two weeks next year?

The following shows some of the planning for the trip and some stories and pictures from the trip.
